SOLUM’s Proximity Sensor is an ultra-small, IR-type photoelectric proximity sensor that detects the presence of an object that enters the sensor’s field. This module is a complete light-to-digital proximity sensor that boasts low crosstalk VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) emitter, low current consumption, and built-in ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection to ensure high VCSEL ESD capability. Its compact size allows for smaller product designs that deliver both performance and comfort to the users.

SOLUM Proximity Sensor also has built-in absorption film which rejects optical crosstalk mechanism, as well as Automatic Crosstalk Cancellation (ACC) technology which cancels signals from other sensors and communication channels working in parallel with the proximity sensor, resulting to a highly-accurate proximity sensing across a wide variety of scenarios and applications.
